What is the cost of the Sterling Hills Homeowners Association?

The current dues for the Sterling Hills Homeowners Association are $200.00.

When are the dues due?

Dues are due by January 31 st of each year. Paying after this date can result in additional fees.

What are the assessments used for?

Per the Covenants, the assessments shall be used exclusively for the purpose for promoting the health, safety, recreation, and welfare of the residents in the Sterling Hills Homeowners Association. In particular, the operation, improvement and maintenance of the neighborhood, and for services as authorized by the Board of Directors.

I moved into the neighborhood in July. What do I owe?

If you moved in the middle of the year, you do not owe dues until January. If you owned your home on January 1, you owe dues for the upcoming year.

When are the meetings?

The Sterling Hills Homeowners Association holds its annual meeting on the on the fourth Wednesday of July at 7:30 p.m. A notice will be mailed to you with the location.

What color can I paint my house?

Sterling Hills has a color palate registered with Sherwin Williams. Ask for the Sterling Hills sample palate when shopping for paint.

Can I build a fence?

Yes. However, fences must be wood and no more than 6’ in height. Fences must also be reviewed by the Architectural Review Board prior to construction.

Can I park my boat in my driveway?

No. Per the Sterling Hills Covenants, boats, trailers, nor campers are allowed to be parked on your property for longer than 24 hours.

Can I build a shed?

No. The Sterling Hills Homeowners Association does not allow “outbuildings.”
